Our Mission

INTEGIRLS

INTEGIRLS is the teen-led international organization behind the math competition and virtual puzzle hunt for female and non-binary teens. Both are team-based competitions that encourage contestants to work together to solve difficult questions.

We know how it feels to be a girl interested in STEM and be one of the only girls in physics classrooms, math teams, and science clubs. That is why we decided to create a community for girls to interact with each other and inspire them to pursue your passions. Our goal is to foster and promote girls' passion for math and problem solving, an essential part of STEM, and ignite a sense of community for girls in this small yet driven group of people.

D.C. Chapter

The D.C. chapter of inteGIRLS hosts regional competitions every year, open to all female or non-binary middle school and high school students living in the Washington metropolitan area

We strive to form a supportive, tight-knit math community in the DC region. Further, we hope to provide young people in the area a group of strong, passionate role models of women/non-binary folk in the STEM community. Our goal is to break down traditional gender-based barriers and pave the path for marginalized individuals who are interested in higher education.
